Jimmy The “DeMoN” Ho is back

Dota 2 professional player Jimmy Ho poses for portraits in Los Angeles, CA on the 8th of April, 2014.

Last year, in June 2018, Jimmy “DeMoN” Ho announced his retirement from the competitive landscape of Dota2. On the 1st of June Jimmy posted a video where he thanked the community. He also comprehensively highlighted how frustrated he was with his experience with Team Admiral in the Southeast Asia.

After the TI8 DeMoN was signed up by J.Storm as a coach of the side. He and his teams also competed in three Majors of the 2018-2019 DPC. Yet the team failed to deliver impressive results, which enabled them to secure a spot for The International 9.

The NA side also failed to qualify for the last Major and the Minor. So the only hope of the term now is to win the regional qualifiers. This won’t be an easy job since for the 2019 TI each region get only one qualifying spot. So in the hope of overcoming this obstacle, J.Storm have recently announced some major roster changes. It includes sending two members to the inactive roster.

Changes to J.Storm roster

The leader of the side, Park “March” Tae-won and Bryle “bryle” Santos De Guia will remain in the team. Yet both of these players will be benched for sometime, this was revealed by the Twitter account of the team a few hours ago. The support role of March will be taken up by DeMoN and for the mid lane, J.Storm has recruited Leon “Nine” Kirilin as a stand-in. Nine is a talented German-Russian player. In the past years he has represented Team Spirit and PETA Sports. Individually, he has been in the top 10 of the leaderboards for quite some time. In April 2019, he even achieved the Immortal 1 rank.

You can see DeMon and Nine in action in the WePlay! Tug of War: Dire America. The team has made it to the semifinal and it will face off against Beast Coast who has also made a couple of changes of their own. These two teams will be action later today.
